Healthcare Data Integration Services

26bitz builds integrations between healthcare systems that don't talk to each other by default: EHRs, lab systems, medical devices, and third-party platforms, using HL7 and FHIR. We connect what you already have instead of replacing it, with encryption, role-based access, and audit logs on every connection.

What We Connect

Connect EHRs, Labs, and Devices Without Replacing Them

Most clinics and health tech companies already run an EHR, a lab system, billing, and a few devices that don't share data. We build the interfaces between them, so records update in real time and nobody retypes results.

HL7 & FHIR Interfaces

HL7 v2 messaging, FHIR APIs, and custom connectors for systems that support neither.

One Patient Record

Data from EHRs, labs, devices, and apps in one place, so clinicians see the full picture.

What Healthcare Data Integration Changes for Your Teams

Integration work looks different for each team. Here's what changes once your systems share data:

Clinical Teams

Lab results, imaging reports, and notes from other departments land in the EHR automatically, so decisions are made with the full record in front of you.

Administrators

Scheduling, billing, and insurance data sync between systems, cutting double entry and the errors that come with it.

MedTech Teams

Medical device readings flow into hospital IT and patient records in real time, with alerts when values go out of range.

Researchers

Clinical, operational, and patient-reported data in one de-identified dataset, ready for analysis without months of manual cleanup.

Your Trusted Partner in Compliance and Security

Built for Regulated Healthcare

We build with HIPAA and GDPR in mind from the first sprint: encryption, role-based access, audit logs, and data that stays in your cloud. Your compliance team gets a system that's easy to review.

Your Data, Your Cloud

Everything runs in your own cloud account, on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You own the data, the audit trail, and the source code, so there's no vendor lock-in.

What Clients Say

Startups, nonprofits, and pharma teams we've built for.

FAQs

Straight answers on healthcare data integration.

What does "healthcare data integration" actually involve?

Connecting systems that don't talk to each other by default, like your EHR, lab systems, medical devices, and third-party platforms, so patient data moves between them without retyping. It's plumbing, but plumbing that has to survive an audit.

Which standards do you build to: HL7, FHIR, or both?

Both, depending on what your systems support. Most new integrations target FHIR. Many hospital systems still run on HL7 v2. We build for what your infrastructure actually needs.

Can you integrate with our existing EHR without replacing it?

Yes. Most of this work is building bridges between the systems you already have. Replacing a working EHR is rarely the right call.

How do you handle HIPAA and GDPR on the same project?

We map which rules apply to which data flow before writing code. A US-only pipeline has different requirements than one that touches EU patients. Building those boundaries in from the start beats bolting security onto a working system later.

Who typically needs this kind of integration work?

Clinical teams that want one view of the patient across departments, admin teams tired of reconciling data by hand, device makers connecting hardware to hospital IT, and researchers who need clean access to operational data.

Do you have a real example of this kind of work?

Yes, but most of it is under NDA, including our HL7 and FHIR work, so we can't publish the details. One pharma client's Global Regulatory Affairs Manager said our team jumped in quickly and that our security and compliance knowledge stood out. We're happy to walk you through relevant work on a call.
